Friday, August 5 - Donna’s Field trip to LaConner Quilt Museum in LaConner, WA. Donna Quezada shared this outing was once called the President’s Field Trip/Outing. This year’s outing is going to La Conner to visit the quilt museum. Donna shared there are a couple of nice restaurants up there…on the way back there is a fruit stand that sells the best ice-cream she ever had.
La Conner is 2+ hour drive…must leave early in the morning…date is Friday, August 5th. (There isn’t a meeting on Friday, August 5th). In the past we tried to incorporate a quilt store, but the museum has a store that everyone might enjoy. We can carpool. There will be a sign-up sheet at the picnic…or you can call Donna.
If you're interested to learn about the Quilt Museum and the exhibits there, go to
Quilt Museum. August 19 - 1:00 pm - Guild Workshop meeting at the Buckley Fire Station, 611 S. Division St., Buckley. We will work on Pillowcases/Gift Bags to sell in the Country Store at the Quilt Show.
