Crystal Quilters Calendar - April 2016

Friday, April 1 - 11:30 am - Lunch will be at Frankie's Pizza, 117 Roosevelt Ave., Enumclaw.
1:00 to 4:00 pm - General Guild Meeting at Buckley Fire Station, 611 S. Division St., Buckley.  Scott Grey from the Enumclaw Expo Fairgounds will be joining us for a discussion.

In April we will be having *two events* for our Monthly Workshop:
* Friday April 15 - 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.  Maggie Ball "Kaleidoscope Puzzle" class at the Buckley Fire Station, 611 S. Division St., Buckley. $40.00 for the class + $5.00 for a pattern.  See Maggie's website here.  See the supply list here.  No board meeting at this time.

There will be a break from 12:15 to 12:30 for all participants to exchange Traveling Robin quilt boxes in the foyer.

Friday, May 14 - 10:00 am Tour of The Warm Company in Elma, WA.  Meet at Sears parking lot in Enumclaw @ 7:30 am, leave at 7:40, or if you live in Buckley or beyond, meet in the Target parking lot in Bonney Lake @ 7:45 am and leave by 8:00 am.  The Warm Company makes 'Warm and Natural' and other battings as well as Insul-Bright and Steam-a-Seam 2.  See their website here.

Crystal Quilters Calendar - January 2016


Happy New Year!

Friday, Jan. 8 - 11:30 am - Lunch will be at Frankie's Pizza, 117 Roosevelt Avenue, Enumclaw.
1:00 pm - General Guild Meeting at  Buckley Fire Station, 611 S. Division St., Buckley.
* Bring your photos and ideas of your suggestions for the 2017 Raffle Quilt!
* If you will be participating in the Traveling Round Robin this year, have your first block done and your box of fabrics ready to pass.
* Don't forget to wear a name tag!  Preferably your own.  

Friday, Jan. 15 - 1:00 pmGuild Workshop at the Buckley Fire Station, 611 S. Division St, Buckley.  We will be making microwave fabric bowls to donate to the Empty Bowls event and also to sell at the quilt show.  
* Please bring 2 coordinating 10 inch squares of 100% cotton fabric (NO metallic!) and the Wrap and Zap batting (available online here at Joann) or 100% cotton batting (no scrim) for each bowl you want to make.  There are tutorials you can look at  here and here to help you understand what we will be doing.

Crystal Quilters Calendar - December 2015

Friday, Dec. 4 11:30 am - Crystal Quilters' Annual Christmas Potluck and Party plus a General Guild meeting at the Buckley Fire Station, 611 S. Division St., Buckley.  We will begin eating at 12 noon.  Please bring a dish to share and two fat quarters in a plain brown sack for a fun gift exchange. 

* With your dish to share, please list the ingredients for those allergic to foods. 

* Also, please bring a canned food donation for the Food Bank.

* We will hold the drawing for the guild's Opportunity Quilt at this meeting.  Please be sure to bring any ticket stubs that have been sold but not yet turned in.

* Please wear a name tag.

Please Note: There will not be a guild workshop in the month of December.

We will have the re-cap report on the Quilt Show, and as well as the presentation of our slate of officers for next year.

Friday, Nov. 20 - 1:00 pm. Guild Workshop at the Buckley Fire Station, 611 S. Division St, Buckley.

Friday, Dec. 4 - 11:30 am  General Guild Meeting and Annual Christmas Party at the Buckley Fire Station, 611 S. Division St, Buckley. We'll have a potluck lunch, so please bring a dish to share.

Crystal Quilters Calendar - October 2015

Thursday, October 1 - 2 - 4 pm.  Quilt Collection Day
The Quilt Show Committee and volunteers will be collecting your Quilt Show entries at Cedar Community Church.  Cedar is on the corner of Mason and Cedar Street in Buckley.  The quilts will be collected in the Activity Hall on the Mason Street side of the church.  Bring your quilts, each in their own white plastic bag with a copy of your quilt entry form taped to the outside.  The third copy of your entry is for you to keep for claiming your quilt at the end of the show.   If you can’t make the collection day, call Nancy or Jan and make arrangements for dropping quilts off early.

Friday, Oct. 2 - 11:30 am - Lunch will be at Mariachi Alegre, 29401 Hwy 410 in Buckley,
1:00 pm- General Guild Meeting at the Buckley Fire Station, 611 S. Division St, Buckley.
