Reminder #1 - Friday, Feb. 20th - At the workshop, we will be exchanging our boxes for the Traveling Round Robin. In your box, you should have all of the fabrics you've selected, the block you've chosen made of your fabrics, and all the other "ingredients". The next swap will be at the March meeting, Friday, March 6th.

Crystal Quilters Workshop reminder
Don't Forget: This Friday, Feb. 20th at 1:00 pm is our workshop on Strings. We will be in our usual meeting place, the Buckley fire station, 611 S. Division St., Buckley,
We'll be playing "Strip Poker" with our strips, so be sure to bring some fabric strips. They should be width of fabric and 2 1/2 inches wide.
We will also use any size strip, cut width of fabric or less, and from 3/4 inch up to 4 or 5 inches wide, for making some sample string piecing. Please bring your sewing machine and workshop sewing kit.
For those that don't want to participate, you're welcome to come and work on your own project as well.
Come and have fun with us while learning another way to Slash Your Stash!

Crystal Quilters Workshop Information & Supply List
Wednesday, Feb. 18 - 10 am to 2 pm. at the Enumclaw Library, 1700 1st St. Fusible "Kokio" class by Dee Brown of The Quilted Trillium. The cost of the class is $40, payable to Crystal Quilters, with a $7 kit fee (kit includes fabric, batting and backing) going to the instructor.

(Judy needs a headcount to let Dee know how many kits to bring to the class.)

Crystal Quilters Calendar - February 2015
Friday, Feb. 6 - 11:30 am - Lunch will be at Bangkok Thai resaurant, 1240 Griffin Ave., Enumclaw.
1:00 pm - General Guild meeting at the Buckley Fire Station, 611 S. Division St., Buckley.
The agenda for the meeting will be available at the meeting.
If you haven't already turned them in, please bring your finished half-square triangles trimmed to 2 1/2 inches square, made of the squares we traded at the January meeting.
There will be a discussion of Friendship and String Quilts at the meeting. There will also be a short demo by Judy on the cleaning and repair of Vintage sewing machines. Bring your Featherweight machine to the meeting for assistance.
Please consider bringing one, two or more Friendship, Star or Basket blocks to contribute to our 2015 raffle quilt with the theme of Friendship. Your choice of block pattern, size and fabric/color. Wynonna and Vonda will be assembling the quilt. Blocks MUST be turned in at the Feb. 6th meeting!
