If you feel uncomfortable sharing food, bring your own lunch. Bring your own chair. We will supply napkins, plates, glasses, utensils, water, and iced tea.

Reminder that the completed quilts are due at the picnic on July 7th. Place your completed quilt in a brown paper sack and bring to the picnic. Cover the label. All work (Piecing/Quilting) must be done by the guild member. We will choose the winners at the picnic.

July 21st - 1:00pm Guild workshop at the Buckley Fire Station, 611 Division St., Buckley. Our July workshop will be on Curve Piecing.
This month our workshop will be to learn how to sew curve piecing. Evangeline H. will be teaching this workshop. Many different quilt designs are now incorporating curves in their designs. Two methods of piecing will be taught to you to take your quilts to the next level. This is an intermediate class. Supplies needed are:
* Elisa’s Backporch Design crazy curves templates in either size (3 ½” or 7”).
* Template grips-a MUST! These templates slip easily, and accuracy is important.
* 28mm rotary cutter. Your large wheel won’t work.
* Personal cutting mat, no smaller than 12” or larger than 18” to fit at your workstation. A 12” square ruler to square up blocks is helpful.
* Regular size rotary cutter, pins, ¼” piecing foot, thread, seam ripper, sewing machine. (Plus, basic
sewing supplies you use at home).
* Fabric needed:
3 ½” templates use 5” charm squares + background fabric.
7” templates use 10” squares/layer cake size + background fabric.
**Scraps can be used in the above sizes according to your template size.
**More information on page 5 of Newsletter.
