Please join us, as we love to share our quilts!  We will have Susanne Wick as our Featured Quilter.

There will also be vendors, demonstrations,  a Make & Take and don't miss our Crystal Boutique.  We have lots of handmade goodies by our members for you to enjoy.  We will also have our Tea Room for you to enjoy tea or coffee and some delicious treats.

If you bring a non-perishable food donation for the Food Bank, you will receive a free fat quarter! (up to 2)

Tuesday, Oct. 3 - 6pm - Evening Workshop, Enumclaw Library, 1700 1st. St., Enumclaw. 

Friday, Oct. 6 - 11:30 am - Lunch will be at Trapper's Sushi, 1537 Cole St., Enumclaw, or The Historic Mint Alehouse and Restaurant, 1608 Cole St.  Your choice!

1:00 pm. General guild meeting at the Enumclaw Library, 1700 1st St., Enumclaw.

Please bring fat quarters (triangle-folded) to the guild meeting.  These Fat Quarters will be used for the Canned Food Drive at the quilt show to support our local food banks.

Also, if you haven’t picked up and paid for your “guild member 10 raffle tickets”, please take care of that as soon as possible. The drawing will be at the Quilt Show Oct. 21st, so get those ticket stubs in to be included in the drawing!

October 18 - Quilt Check-in and Quilt Hanging

Bring your quilts to the Les Schwab building at the Enumclaw Expo Center Fairgrounds on Wednesday, 

Oct. 18 to check them in at the times listed below. These times are listed according to the first letter of 

your last name:

9:00–10:00 a.m. A–F 

10:00–11:00 a.m. G–N 

11:00am – 12:00pm O – Z

The directions for turning in your quilts are:

Print 2 copies of each entry form for each quilt. (One copy of form for pick 

up at end of quilt show and one copy that you tape to the bag you bring your quilt in to the show.)

Tape one copy of your entry form to the front of a large white kitchen-garbage bag and then place your 

quilt inside. Make sure that you have secured a clothespin or binding clip at the top of each quilt so that 

your quilt is hung in the correct direction. (no pins!)

10:00am-4:00pm both days

Friday, November 3rd - 11:30 am - Lunch will be at The Lee, 1110 Griffin Ave., Enumclaw.

Tuesday, November 7th - 6:00 pm. - Evening Workshop, Location TBD

Friday, November 17th - 1:00pm -Guild Workshop will be on hand-quilting with Wynonna and Charlotte.

Crystal Quilters Calendar - September 2015

Friday, Sept. 18 - Deadline for Quilt Show Entries paperwork to be submitted!
1:00 pm - Guild Workshop at the Buckley Fire Station, 611 S. Division St, Buckley.

We will be working on aprons to sell at the Country Store.  If you need help finishing your quilts for the Quilt Show or help filling out your Entry Form, you'll find it here.  Also, there will be volunteers available to take photos of submissions for the quilt show, so if you need photos taken, bring your entries to the workshop!

Quilt entry deadline is September 18th at our workshop. Every quilt must have a completed entry form with a photo.  The quilt size is important so measure it please.  Make 2 additional copies of the form.  Give one of the completed forms to Nancy or Jan at the September 4th meeting or September 18th workshop.  You can email forms to Jan at gjburley67(at)msn(dot)com before the September 18th deadline.   Keep the other 2 forms.  Volunteers will have cameras at the workshop along with blank forms.  The Quilt Show Committee plans the quilt layout and makes the labels from these forms so it is very important they get them as early as possible.

Also, please bring donations of 7 inch equilateral triangles of Christmas fabric (2 coordinating pieces each) and give to Judy at the workshop.  She needs these for the Make & Take at the Quilt Show.

Thursday, October 1 - 2 - 4 pm.  Quilt Collection Day
The Quilt Show Committee and volunteers will be collecting your Quilt Show entries at Cedar Community Church.  Cedar is on the corner of Mason and Cedar Street in Buckley.  The quilts will be collected in the Activity Hall on the Mason Street side of the church.  Bring your quilts, each in their own white “garbage” bag with one of the forms taped to the outside.  The third copy of your entry is for you to keep for claiming your quilt at the end of the show.   If you can’t make the collection day, call Nancy or Jan and make arrangements for dropping quilts off early.  We can’t collect quilts at a meeting or workshop!

More Reminders!

Reminder #1 - Friday, Feb. 20th - At the workshop, we will be exchanging our boxes for the Traveling Round Robin.  In your box, you should have all of the fabrics you've selected, the block you've chosen made of your fabrics, and all the other "ingredients".  The next swap will be at the March meeting, Friday, March 6th.

Reminder #2 - Saturday, Feb. 21 at 9 am - We will meet at the Sears parking lot in Enumclaw to carpool to the Kitsap Quilters' quilt show in Bremerton.  Please click here then scroll down to Upcoming  Quilt Shows & Events for more info on this quilt show.

Updated Quilt Show Information

The Ingathering Of The Quilts has changed locations.  The quilts will still be collected on the same date (Monday, Oct. 6th), and will now be at Cedar Community Church, 192 Cedar Street (between Mason Ave. and Pearl Ave.), Buckley, WA  98321 in the Fellowship Hall.  There are no stairs at this location. The time of collection will be 3 to 6:30 pm.

As a reminder: Quilts should be in a white plastic trash bag with one copy of your entry form (including the photo of the quilt) taped to the bag.  Smaller quilts may be in smaller bags.  Be sure to bring a second copy of your entry form.

If you have signed up to help with the quilt show set-up on Wed. Oct. 8, and you aren't a show committee member, please arrive at the fairgrounds at 10:15 am. 

Quilt Show!

This weekend, October 12, 13 & 14 (Friday, Saturday & Sunday), is our big quilt show.  Please come out to see our quilts and visit with us.  We'd love to see you there!  Be sure to check out the Quilt Show 2012 tab at the top of the page with all the information about the quilt show.

Don't forget to bring your non-perishable food donations for a free fat quarter!  (limit of 3)
