Update to Crystal Quilters Calendar

Friday, Jan 18 - 1 p.m.until 4 p.m. - Workshop at Mt. Villa Mobile Home Park, 1099 Mt. Villa Drive, Enumclaw, in the clubhouse (lower level).  Norma will be teaching us a tablerunner.  We'll be ready for Valentine's decorating with this beauty done in plenty of time!

Crystal Quilters Calendar

Friday, December 7 - Noon.   December Pot Luck at Mt. Villa Mobile Home Park clubhouse (upper level), 1099 Mountain Villa Dr., Enumclaw.  Please bring a dish to share, 2 fat quarters in a brown lunch bag, a donation for the Food Bank, dues if you haven't yet paid, and your good humor!  We will be voting on the new slate of officers - nominations are open until we vote!

We are still looking for a secretary for the day group and one for the evening group.  Can you take minutes?

Important: We need 5 more blocks made for the Arts Alive quilt.  Please use greens and purples, preferably batiks.  Give them to Vonda, who will be assembling the quilt.

Wednesday, October 31 - 1 p.m. - Quilters and Their Stories 2 at the Enumclaw Library, 1700 1st St.  A FREE lecture presented by Susan Olds and brought to us by by the King County Library System.!  Enjoy true stories about quilters from around the world and their craft.

Friday, Nov. 2 - 11:30 am. - Lunch at Bistro Thyme at C.C.'s (Collectibles on Cole), 1501 Cole St., Enumclaw.

Saturday, Nov. 10 - Workshop with Colleen Wise at the Key Bank, 1212 Cole St., Enumclaw .  There are still open spaces, and now the class is Open To The Public at a cost of $25!  Class set-up is at 8:30 a.m. and starts at 9 a.m.  There will be a break for lunch at approx. Needed: Antique quilts for the Bed Turning at the Quilt Show.  Take the quilts to Mary S. before the October meeting, or call Mary and she will pick them up.  Don't forget to have a story/history to go with each quilt.

Monday, Oct. 1- 7:00 pm. Crystal Quilters Too meeting at the Enumclaw Library, 1700 1st Street.  The guild library will be available for purchase - $3 per item.  Don't forget to bring to the meeting: Be sure to bring your inventory sheet for any items you may be selling at the Country Store and your Quilt Entry forms. We need batik fat quarters for the Batik raffle basket, notions, patterns, books, fat quarters etc. for the Notion raffle basket, and orange or "autumn" fabric for the Make & Take pumpkins.
